Alcover: bandits and fossils

Let’s know about the history and curiosities of Alcover, a very well-known village due to the presence of bandits in the 16th and 17th century.

We will try to find the treasure hidden somewhere in the village, by following the clues of the local bandit Pere Voltor, while we learn about its history and monuments.

While we are searching for this treasure, we will also visit the Local Museum of Alcover, which is also home to the majestic Batistó House and the amazing exhibition The Mountains of Prades 240 milions ago. There, we will learn about the Mountains of Prades and the fossils found from the Tertiary. To finish our visit, we will make a reproduction of our “stone fish”.
